SCHOOL AND NURSERY SUPPORT PACKAGES​

At Cornerstone learning, we believe in supporting children and families in every setting, whether that is in our centre, at home or in school.  Our directors have extensive experience working in both mainstream and specialist schools and nurseries, providing bespoke training, intervention plans and support.We believe success is best achieved through collaboration, and that’s why we work with a range of multidisciplinary teams, schools and involve parents every step of the way.

Our school packages can be tailored to the needs of the school and the pupils you support.  This can look like:

 

  • Whole school or cohort specific inset day training

  • Training to support an individual child

  • Behavioural assessment and behaviour support plans

  • Short-term and ongoing support

  • Social skills groups

 

Another popular service we offer is to provide short communication and interaction sessions for EYFS children who need extra support in mainstream nurseries and schools.  Sessions are run by one of our directors and supported by school staff, therefore ensuring that techniques are followed through to your environment.

 

Staff report feeling much more supported as a result of our programmes and more confident in supporting the children they work with.

 

We can offer training courses on a number of different topics including, but not limited to:

 

  • Autism awareness

  • Communication and interaction strategies

  • Play skills

  • Differentiated learning strategies
